Various tissues from different embryological sources form our ears, which are incredibly delicate organs responsible for both hearing and balance. However, the significance of the ear extends beyond these functions.
The intricate network of nerves passing through or near the ear can lead to severe consequences when affected by ear diseases. These consequences include facial nerve paralysis, loss of taste, dry eyes, decreased salivation, eye movement disorders, and facial pain. Additionally, the ear is adjacent to the brain and contains its main artery and vein. Therefore, ear otitis are of utmost importance.
